What Is Turinabol Made Of?

Turinabol, also known as Oral Turinabol or simply Tbol, is an anabolic androgenic steroid (AAS) that was developed in the early 1960s in East Germany. Its chemical structure is derived from testosterone, modified to reduce its androgenic effects while retaining its anabolic properties.

Chemically, Turinabol is a modified form of testosterone with an added chloro group at the 4th carbon position and a methyl group at the 17th carbon position. This alteration makes it less androgenic compared to testosterone while maintaining its anabolic effects, resulting in a milder steroid overall.

The addition of the chloro group restricts aromatization (conversion to estrogen) and reduces the likelihood of estrogenic side effects such as water retention and gynecomastia. This makes Turinabol a popular choice among athletes and bodybuilders looking for lean muscle gains without excessive water retention.
